I've always had a sense there was something wrong with me.

On the outside I seem fine. But on the inside I've always been in a state of dissociation, suffering with stress, loneliness, depression and with no sense of self-worth. Tension, pains, comfort eating, avoidant attachment and isolating myself led to an addiction to self-help and intense exercise to try and ‘fix’ what was ‘wrong’ with me. Being taught as a man it’s not ok to feel things, I became pretty good at repressing myself, leading to more stress and tension. Repression equals depression. Eventually I realised that I was dissociated from my body due to trauma and narcissitic abuse. I was stuck in an unsafe body with a chronically dysregulated and frozen nervous system. This has led me on a path of letting go of cultural conditioning and rediscovering my true self and nature. Through breathwork, natural movement and living in alignment with how we are evolved to live, we can send healthy signals to our nervous system, transform our health and live true to ourselves.
